Corporate Facilitation

org harmony start.PNG

As a trained facilitator in Organisational Harmony and Personal Harmony, I offer these unique and highly effective forms of professional development for individuals and organisations.

The underlying principle of this approach is simple:  values drive behaviour.

We measure the current values using 2 surveys:

  • Team Harmony Survey

  • Personal Harmony Survey

The results of the survey take us to the heart of the issue within the organisation. This is direct, and gives people permission to talk about the issues that really matter. By engaging teams in this way, with values as the core, each team member feels valued and accepts the responsibility to participate and define positive practices for themselves and for the organisation. This creates harmony.

Organisational Harmony helps create environments where freedom of expression is the norm, people feel safe to be honest and share a diversity of views, people have accountability and equality.

Individuals will see the organisation as part of their world and society at large - rather than just a workplace. People will gain a feeling of freedom, will want to produce more, take on more responsibility and leadership roles.

Organisational Harmony: Philosophy

Few people are personally fulfilled by going to work. For some it’s the work itself which causes this, for most, it is the work environment.

Outside of work people naturally seek to find happiness, fulfilment and love.   If they don't experience enough of these at work, eventually, people become demotivated, disengaged and less productive.  Even when this is recognised in organisations, people often don’t know what to do about it.

Policies and procedures rarely accommodate individuals’ need for growth happiness, fulfillment and love. Over time organisations have not incorporated these needs, without assessing the impact to

their performance. Therefore, there is a need for the culture to be reset. This is the role of

organisational harmony.

The removal of discord and the introduction of positive practices is what leads to organisational harmony. Organisational harmony enables people to feel an important contributor to the

organisation and will see the organisation as a part of their world and society at large.

Working with teams to solve core issues

Organisational Harmony offers a diagnostic questionnaire that measures the politics and values occurring in a team. The things that get in the way of people doing their work and the things that create safety, inspiration and a desire to contribute in a team.

The survey results tell us where the most important areas are to start. We then facilitate a freedom of expression with leaders and teams and solve the core issues.

For an organisation to be in a state of harmony, we need an increase in honesty, integrity and social awareness and a decrease in sycophancy, manipulation and inequality.  Working to get these behaviours right allows for an organisation to be in harmony.

The Team Harmony Survey

The Team Harmony survey measures six dimensions

For an organisation to be in harmony teams require high levels of Honesty, Integrity and Social and

low levels of Sycophancy, Manipulation and Inequality.

Working with leaders to create change for growth and fulfillment

Unlike standard coaching, our values based coaching rapidly identifies the leader's readiness for the shift. Our coaches engage, provoke and observe. We are here to highlight what is hidden, not reinforce what was already known.

The personal values coaching (Personal Harmony), includes a diagnostic survey and a debrief of the results.  Where a team is working with Organisational Harmony methodology, it is highly beneficial to also work with the Personal Harmony methodology. This approach generates rapid commitment to change, or clarity about the individual's place and role in the team.

Natural leaders have an innate desire to grow and seek fulfillment for themselves and those around them. Although the desire exists it is not always clear how to do this...

Change can only occur if the leader is ready themselves to make change.  When we work with leaders, we bring to light their behaviours and beliefs that enable and disable change in themselves and their teams.  We also encourage honesty within themselves – am I really ready to lead this change and do I have the skills to manage the change?

Personal Harmony Coaching

Personal Harmony reveals the core values and personal values that an individual holds and lives by, providing deep insights.  The reports reveal a true picture of an individual and their potential for personal growth and professional development.

Since a person’s values form the basis of their beliefs, attitudes, how they live their life and who they are at work, a values-based assessment is critical in gaining an accurate picture of a person, as opposed to the image or identity they choose to present. Our questionnaires reveal their deepest motivations and underlying values.

Our coaching then turns those insights into actions that can improve how a person feels at work and how they do their work. People will then operate from their values and be clear and purposeful in what they are doing and why.

Through the coaching they will set  goals to be reviewed and re-tested to chart progress towards further development and tangible results.  Personality profiling tools like Myers Briggs Type Indicators assume no change based on growth.

Personal Harmony results and their growth will clearly be seen over time.

Level One: A Core Values Report

A Core Values Report includes an assessment of eleven core values that define a person.

These key values are the foundation from which the outcomes (or lack of outcomes) in a person’s life will stem from.

These include;

degree of honesty,

accountability,

ability to deal with fear and confront negative patterns,

ego development,

level of self belief,

judgement and level of personal harmony.

It opens the mind to how to think differently ,turn any negativity into positive thoughts, feelings and action and allowing more choice to maximise personal harmony and growth.

Level Two: Personal Values Report

A Personal Values Report supplements the Level One Core Values Report for deeper discovery, transformational growth and fulfillment. It explores ten further values which include;

- Strength of character

 - Degree of independence

 - Level of wisdom

 - Adaptability

 - Degree of idealism

 - Passion

 - Need for deeper meaning

 - Level of personal values.

This report offers self discovery, meaning and purpose and a better understanding of where personal values are being applied or compromised.

It opens the mind to see the potential to break free of personal limitations and grow.
